Women's Committee

The Utah Farm Bureau Women's Committee was organized to help promote the entire Farm Bureau program, particularly those activities suited to the interests and talents of women. Any woman from a Farm Bureau family is eligible to participate in local and state activities.

Farm Bureau Women are committed to:

Policy Development - Identifying issues at the grassroots level then working to implement policy through the Legislature and Congress.

Public Relations - Helping Utahns better understand the importance of agriculture in their daily lives.

Leadership Development - Opportunities for farm and ranch women to hone their communication, presentation, and organization skills.

Fundraising - Raising funds to support Agriculture in the Classroom and agriculture research.

Items of interest:

"Farm Bureau women, unlike the women of many other groups, are not auxiliary members -they are regular members. They are integrated and represented throughout Farm Bureau's entire structure. Men and women of Farm Bureau work side by side on Farm Bureau's programs. They need the same training, they observe the same rules, they follow the same policies. In working in a community or in larger groups, on committees or boards, women work fundamentally as do men."
