| FBACT is a product of the American Farm Bureau Federation and serves as a grassroots action network. FBACT is a group of Farm Bureau members who voluntarily receive electronic alerts from American Farm Bureau Federation. These e-mails contain pertinent information relating to bills and regulations and require immediate response from production agriculture.
Our ability to implement Farm Bureau policy depends upon a concentrated and unified effort. Today’s changing political and technological environment requires this kind of effort. The FBACT program was designed to achieve this effort. Farm Bureau members participating on the FBACT will be able to stay well informed on the key issues and communicate their concerns quickly to their elected officials.
The FBACT website is accessed by first getting to the American Farm Bureau Federation Web site (www.fb.org). Click on "Legislative Action" and then FBACT. This Web site allows you to compose e-mails and send them directly to the Congressmen of your choice. The Web site includes links to federal agencies, Congressional directories & staff listings, co-sponsorship and bill status, key votes, election information and a media guide.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the FBACT Team, gaining access to special internet information and receiving the FBACT e-mail alerts, contact Aurline Boyack, Director of Member Services and FBACT Coordinator at 801-233-3010 or aboyack@fbfs.com.
